Do You Need A Flat Roof Repaired?
Huge savings can be made by overlaying a failed roof with the asphalt as the original roof-covering does not need to be taken off first. This instantly reduces significantly the time and removal costs usually incurred, especially where heavy materials like mastic asphalt are concerned.
The roof can be completely encapsulated by the asphalt membrane. Any trapped moisture will naturally evaporate in time, as the membrane is "breathable". A full range of accessory products means that a complete solution can be provided, including edge trims, wall-cappings, standing seam details, rainwater outlets, roof lights and many more. Each one is designed to work in harmony, to upgrade and refurbish any failed roof to absolute perfection.

Felt Roofing
Felt roofing is a way of getting rid of future problems of flat roof problems. The process of this is we use sheets of felt then pour hot melted asphalt onto the felt to create a water tight seal, in some cases sand is mixed in with the asphalt this aids in stopping slippery surfaces.

After cleaning and preparing the roof we lay Asphalt felt which forms a barrier
between the roof base and the asphalt. This creates a stronger seal.

Big John may look like a tough guy but we happen tp know that he likes kittens, his grand
children and he is often spotted helping old ladies cross busy roads.

Big John uses his ancient filleting trowel to put the final touches to the upstands.

Big Johns only is happy when he is busy working

Hot Asphalt is dressed onto the roof and spread to create a fall so natural rain water does not
collect on roof and cause future roof problems

Hot melted Asphalt is poured on to Asphalt felt.

Old upstands are being being dressed and filleted

Sand being spread and brushed in on to surface of hot Asphalt.

Sand is placed on top of Hot Asphalt this creates a 'rough surface so that it does not become
slippery and dangerours when the Asphalt has set'

The flat roof has dropped & has caused the existing asphalt fillets to open up and allow
water penetration

This is how the fillet between the Asphalt surface and the partition nwall should
look after installation
