Leak on central heating – pipes buried in concrete/screed
If you have a leak on your central heating system ie your boiler keeps loosing pressure, firstly check the ceilings if you live in house to see if you have any wet patches, rarely do we find leaks above the first floor (in fact only once since we have been doing leak detection). As long as your boiler is working we will locate the leak/leaks using thermal imaging technology and acoustic leak detection technology. Please see domestic case study & thermal images.

Leak on central heating – pipes in suspended floor (ie floor boards)
If you have a leak on your central heating system ie your boiler keeps loosing pressure, firstly check the ceilings if you live in house to see if you have any wet patches, rarely do we find leaks above the first floor (in fact only once since we have been doing leak detection). We drain the central heating system isolate the first floor & above and inject tracer gas into the central heating pipes and use the sensors to locate the leak, we also combine this with using acoustic leak detection technology.

Leak on your incoming Water main service pipe
It doesn’t matter if your water main is lead, pvc, iron, mdpe or poly. Depending on the distance from your external to stopcock (isolation valve) to your property we can trace the leak using acoustic listening technology, correlation and tracer gas.

Leak on Flat roof
We carry out flat roof surveys using Thermal imaging technology. These surveys are either carried out early mornings 5am -7am or after sunset. We gain significantly more accuracy at these time as surface temperatures of the flat roofs not matter what type of material is used ie lead, asphalt, felt, bitumen, nuralite, is lower which improves leak detection accuracy.
