Gas Safe Notification
When we install a new boiler in your home, it is now our legal duty to ‘notify’ the Building Control Office of your local council and also Gas Safe. We do not issue the certificate, we only make the registration. Please allow 3 – 4 weeks for the certificate to arrive.
If or when you sell your property, your solicitor will ask you for the ‘Gas Safe Notification Certificate’ which is also known as a Gas Safe Compliance Certificate.
To make this process more customer friendly, when we resister your Gas Safe Notification Certificate, we will obviously register the certificate in your name and at your given address, however the original certificate will be posted to our office in the first instance. We then make an electronic copy of the certificate and then send you the original certificate.
Why, in years to come when you may be selling your property and perhaps can’t find the original Gas Safe Notification certificate, the sale of your property will not be held up for 3 to 4 weeks waiting for a copy certificate (and a charge of £35 + vat), simply contact us and we will send you a copy in minutes.
